“Waste” is an everyday issue that affects all of us, especially plastic waste. Without proper management, plastic waste can have a negative impact on life and the surrounding environment. Thus, this brainstorming session is organized to seek “Guidelines to Improve Plastic Waste Management in Thailand” with the objective to transform ideas into actions through the cooperation of all sectors in the ecosystem with the drive and determination to create a better and more sustainable community, society, and environment for the next generation.
Moreover, examples and developments of waste management projects from different groups in society will be discussed – from communities, educational institutes, urbanites in housing estates or condominiums, office workers, to vendors in fresh markets – in order to share lessons and provide examples for other groups to learn from and put into further actions.
